FAQ

  • I bought an original or a print. Does that mean I own the copyright?
No, it does not. You own the painting/print, but not the copyright. This means that it is illegal for you to reproduce the painting/print for profit or to use the image in any way without my explicit permission.
  • What's the difference between a commission, original and print?"
All paintings are original pieces of art, handmade by Corina in her studio. Commissions are essentially requests. So all commisions are originals but not all originals are commissions. Prints are reproductions of original artworks. To create a print, high resolution photographs are taken of the artwork, or the works are being scanned, and then printed out on a supersized printer. All prints come with a unique editions number and the embossed signature of the artist, and the CHADEUR logo on the back for authencity.
  • Return and exchange policy
Once a print or original has been purchased it cannot be returned or exchanged. If an order arrives damaged please document the damage and email me at corina@chadeur.com within 2 weeks of arrival. I will arrange to send you a replacement order ( if it's a print) provided that you cover the shipping cost. If an original piece of artwork arrives damaged, please contact me immediately so that I can contact the insurance provider (Some international orders do not include insurance, depending on the destination).
